Scholars Fund closes the summer housing gap for 34 students
When campus housing closed for summer, 34 Lanternhouse Scholars had somewhere to go.
Every May, college students who grew up in foster care face the same problem: residence halls close and there is no home to go back to.
This year the Scholars Fund covered summer housing for 34 students, thanks to a matching gift from a local foundation.
