Accessibility statement
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Here's what that means and how to tell us when we miss.
Our goal
Everyone should be able to find help, give, and learn about Lanternhouse, regardless of device, ability, or connection speed. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA.
What we've done
- Body text set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, designed for low-vision readers
- Color contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 for all text
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus
- Skip link, landmarks, and descriptive headings on every page
- Motion that stops when your device asks for reduced motion
- Forms with visible labels and clear error messages
- Plain language written at about an eighth-grade reading level on help pages
Known issues
Some PDF documents published before 2022 are not fully tagged. Accessible versions are available on request.
